Pastor Dan Axtell
Founding Pastor
Pastor Dan Axtell and his wife, Nikki are natives of Sacramento. Dan grew up in East Sacramento where he attended Theodore Judah, Sutter Middle School and Sacramento High School. Both Dan and Nikki graduated from Sacramento State University and now live in the East Sacramento area. They have four children, Leanna, Tommy, Claire, and Emma. Dan holds a master of Theology degree from Dallas Seminary and has been in ministry since he began youth pastoring and Young Life in 1990. He and Nikki enjoy working on their 1906 high-water bungalow, gardening, time with friends and outdoor activities. They have a passion for the City of Sacramento and are joyfully pursuing God's calling to reach the heart of the City with the love of Jesus Christ through church planting and Networking.
Marc Prescott
Associate Pastor
Pastor Marc Prescott was born and raised in South Africa in the Roman Catholic Church.. His parents and family are from Preston, Lancashire, a small city in the north of England. Marc was trained and ordained in the Pentecostal tradition and graduated from Bible College in 1998. He is also an accomplished artist and majored in Ceramics in Art College. Pastor Marc has been in the ministry since 1996, worked as a Children’s, Youth and Associate Pastor in the Pentecostal and Anglican traditions of both South Africa and Holland. He moved to Sacramento in 2005 to partner with Pastor Dan in planting Restoration Life and married his wife Tina in 2011. Pastor Marc enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, keeping fit and playing an occasional game of tennis. He loves riding his Triumph motorcycle and takes his wife Tina out for date night whenever they have the opportunity. He has a real heart for building relationships with people and helping them develop a strong and healthy relationship with the Lord.
Ben Alderman
Administrative Pastor
Pastor Ben Alderman is a proud father, devoted husband, and passionate leader in both faith and fitness. Based in Sacramento, he has owned and operated Iron Mile Fitness since 2012, creating a space where people can challenge themselves physically while building a strong, supportive community.
Ben’s journey with Christ began early in his sophomore year of high school, when his father introduced him to the faith that would shape his life. Since then, he has dedicated himself to serving in various roles—leading men’s and youth groups, serving on church boards, and guiding mission trips and youth outings. His love for teaching the Bible is central to his life, and he firmly believes that the Church plays a critical role in a healthy Christian walk.
Whether he’s coaching in the gym, teaching scripture, or spending time with his family, Ben strives to lead with faith, integrity, and a deep commitment to building up those around him.
